#11100 G-Scale Basic Remote Coupler Starter Kit

Couplers Designed for use with Freight & Passenger cars.

Basic Starter Kit is for getting started with Kadee-RC Remote uncoupling system. The Kit includes the necessary components and two couplers to convert 1 car¹ (that is equipped with a factory Kadee #830 body mount platform) for remote uncoupling using the #906 Coupler². The car can be setup to remotely operate a single coupler or both couplers simultaneously. The car must have adequate room inside to mount both the #11120 Standard Servo Kit & the #11110 Receiver Kit that are included.

Once you have your basic coupler kit installed and have the Servo plugged into a mounted #11110 Receiver Kit that has been "bound" to your #11215 Hand-Held Transmitter you are ready to Remote Uncouple Anywhere*.

Your Kadee-RC Remote uncoupling system equipped couplers will operate and function with standard Kadee® Couplers. The Remote Couplers will operate with #11215 Hand-Held Transmitter or operate over Kadee® Magnetic uncouplers.

Note: The #11110 Receiver Kit is equipped with a On-board 250mA Relay for lighting or other remote switching needs.

* Limited uncoupling on curves.
¹ Some cars may require additional modification that the Basic Starter Kit is not equipped to convert.
² Use our #880 or 980 G-Scale Height Gauge to check for the correct coupler height and trip pin clearance.
